This grant is designed to help immigrant entrepreneurs through the challenging times of starting a business in Canada, whether they are starting or growing an existing business.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Immigrant Status: Applicants must be first- or second-generation immigrants currently residing in Canada

PORCH Involvement: This grant is exclusive to PORCH Plus (full members) of the PORCH Community

Entrepreneurial Focus: Applicants must be actively involved in starting or growing a business.

Commitment to Community: Applicants must demonstrate how their business positively impacts their career as an immigrant entrepreneur in Canada

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Legal Entity: Applicants must have an incorporated business in Canada

PORCH Foundation: a Not-For-Profit organization to help level the playing field and support immigrant entrepreneurs and the companies that support them. We provide micro-grants and loans to help immigrant entrepreneurs build their companies and get through tough times.
